7th Annual Armistice Day Peace Concert & Vigil

Remember727, together with the Korean Cultural Center, hosts its 7th Annual Armistice Day Peace Concert & Vigil to honor the sacrifices of Korean War Veterans, to remember the 'Forgotten Victory,' and to hope for peace on the Korean Peninsula and elsewhere conflict persists.

Join us for the lighting of candles at 7:27 p.m. around the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, as we remember the Korean War and mark the ceasefire agreement that was signed on July 27th.

Special features include performances and an outdoor exhibition of The Spirit of Peace and Healing: Out of the Trauma of the 6/25 War, presenting contemporary works by Korean artist Eunsook Lee, who grafts the tragedy of separation from the Korean War and the grief of wartime victims to brilliantly illuminated, articulately constructed installation art.
