Korean Cultural Center Washington DC Launches New Website

Korean Cultural Center Washington DC Launches New Website at www.KoreaCultureDC.org

Emphasis on Real Time Updates and Community Connections

(Washington, DC – October 25, 2012): With the launch of its new website this month, the Korean Cultural Center Washington DC at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, promises a new level of connectivity with the many Korea fans in the Capital area through real time event updates, integrated social networking, and much more.

The new homepage at www.KoreaCultureDC.org is a major update intended to meet the demands of a rapidly growing community of Korean culture and policy followers. With a streamlined design, visitors can easily plan a visit, find a full schedule of Performing Arts, Exhibitions(Online Gallery), Films, K-Pop, Literatures, Korean Language, Korus Forum, Taekwondo, and special events spanning a wide range of Korean pop and traditional culture, or learn about ongoing outreach programs, sponsored local events and cultural news.

The new site also integrates social networks, including Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, and Flickr (unified under the name KoreaCultureDC), allowing visitors to join the conversation and connect with the community. A mobile web version of the site will extend the Korean Cultural Center’s network even further to those on the go.

The Korean Cultural Center hopes to build on the momentum of recent years with the new site and continue to grow their community.
