Seeding Hangul: Design Exhibition on Hangul

Join us for the opening of Seeding Hangul: Design Exhibition on Hangul, and exhibition of design works celebrating the aesthetic form and function of Korea’s indigenous writing system.

Exhibition on display through Dec. 7.

The exhibition features a variety of the best Hangul-themed design posters and custom fonts created by the visual design department of Hongik University in Korea for events and publications over the past 20 years. The exhibition also integrates digital aspects of Hangul, including typography and editorial e-books available for download from mobile devices. 


The opening ceremony will feature a presentation by Hongik University students and a professor on the foundation and excellence of Hangul, its history, the iconic square-design font, the featured artists and designers, and the development of the Hangul app.
